With mobile operator Si.mobil – Vodafone d.d. and in collaboration with daughter company FM Virtual, we completed a presentation of the virtual surroundings of Second Life. Si.mobil’s island is split into three parts in which visitors can tour a dance arena where music of Slovene and international DJs is played, visit the luxurious villa of the president of the board or can look at the Si.mobil – Vodafone LAB, which is a total copy of the LAB at the Vodafone Live arena in Ljubljana’s BTC. A speciality that the island offers Slovene visitors is the free sending of SMS messages from the virtual world to the real world, a global innovation. Through promotional stands, Avatars can send up to 24 free SMS messages every day. We regularly arrange parties at which the Slovene Second Life population gathers to the sound of rhythmical, contemporary electronic music.
