For Abbott Laboratories we created a media plan for promotion of their product Reductil, which started in February and finished in May. The promotional plan based on promotion of Reductil, medication available only with a prescription from a doctor, meant for highly overweight patients. Promotion was aimed at a very specific target group and was based only on internet media. As such it contained PR articles on specific internet media, promotion through advertising banners, prize games and mailings. The main goal of promotion was to thoroughly present the product to the specific target group, educate them with dangers facing obesity and to present them all the possible ways of loosing spare body weight.
