On Wednesday, 13th of February 2008, in Maribor, for the second time, we organized a traditional award giving ceremony, called Bob of the Year 2007, for the year’s best quote. For the first time, parallel with the best statement award, there was also a selection of the best blog statement, from more or less anonymous writers of e-diaries, called “Blog’s Bob of the Year 2007”.
The prize Bob of the Year 2007 went to the cardinal, dr. Franc Rode’s statement: “Boys and Girls, responsibility to the nation begins in bed.”, while Blog’s Bob of the Year 2007 went to Jin’s quote: “ It’s easy to save money at long distance travels, but it’s hard to do it at lunch.”.
The moderator of the event was Peter Poles, while music group Pertepuum Jazzile enhanced the evening.
