In Maribor, on 12th of February 2009 we organized a ceremonial event for awarding the best statement of past year – Bob leta 2008. We organized this event for the third time in a row, this time in a Narodni dom hall. The event was a ten year anniversary; therefore we made it even more glamorous. A bit over 300 guests were enjoying a music performance by a legendary singer Oto Pestner, young singer Iva Stanic and percussion group STOP. The event was hosted by Misa Molk that introduced the nominees in a very unique way. Beside awarding the best statement of the year, we awarded the best statement of anonymous writers of electronic diaries (on blogs) - Bob bloga 2009 statement.
The statement of the year – Bob leta 2008 received a secretary of the association of hearing impaired – Mr. Milan Kotnik that declared: “Our country is more often deafer than us the deaf people.” The Bob bloga 2008 statement on blogs won Mr. Ales that declared: “You cannot see the real face of a politician when in crisis, you can see it when the politician is on top and has everything!” (www.vecer.com/blog/Profanost).
