Under the auspices of Pedigree and Whiskas brands, we organized – this time already traditional – celebration of the World Animal Day in Tivoli park. Many dogs and cats accompanied by their owners attended the event.
As educational part of the program, people could get to know the work of different associations from Ljubljana that take care of animals or encourage therapeutic effects they have on daily lives of sick people. The truly eye-catching thing of the celebration was entertaining program, where dogs showed many tricks such as frisbee catching, dancing and the like. Four legged friends got pampered in a dog and cat bar or dog's hair dresser. Visitors could win cute gadgets or treats for their pets at the lottery, while all funds from the lottery will be spent on a guide dog to accompany a person with special needs.
