The 1605 publisher is part of the new club concept, with which DJ Umek and his like-minded team are setting off on a new path in the development of dance-electronic culture. As this is a new publisher with a completely new approach, the launch party was also arranged beyond the existing club framework. The decision to hold Umek's new electronic music project in Plecnik's Krizanke in central Ljubljana was no coincidence. One of the main goals of the project is to set computer and electronic instrument music side by side with classical and pop-rock as a genre that deserves equal artistic and critical handling. Umek's like-minded team, with whom 1605 started, are also proof that this is an exceptional project. They include Guy Gerber, Octex, Gregor Tresher and the Extrawelt duo, who currently belong to the ultra-narrow circle of creators of musical trends. In the future, Mike Del Saar, Gregor Tresher, Billy Nasty, Umek and Matthew Hoag will also be involved in the 1605 project. However, this is just the start of the 1605 expedition.
