1605 and Si.mobil Vodafone organised the first Electronics Day at Ljubljana Krizanke, a day dedicated to electronic music that the 1605 team under the leadership of DJ Umek have named a festival of electronic music. The all-day musical showpiece featured Guy Gerber, Mikkel Metal, Gregor Tresher, Extrawelt and a range of local DJ's involved in the 1605 project. The team is planning to draw in new members, and also that the Electronics Day will become an official festival of electronic music. At the first event, a petition for the official registration of the Electronics Day (16 May – 1605) as a festival of electronic music was launched.
In addition to the goings-on on the main stage, it was also lively in the Krizanke atrium, where there was an exhibition of photographs taken at electronic music parties, as well as an exhibition of graphics with an adjacent chill out corner, where guests were spoilt by DJ Dojaja's music on comfortable cushions and sweetened with fresh fruit.
